Job Description
The Migration ETL Developer will design, build, and execute secure and scalable data migration workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud (IDMC) for core banking transformation programmes. The role focuses on extracting, transforming, cleansing, and loading financial data into target systems like Temenos T24, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth migration execution.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and IDMC.
Build extraction, transformation, cleansing, enrichment, and loading processes for large-scale migration.
Perform data profiling, quality checks, reconciliation, and delta analysis.
Interpret mapping specs and convert them into ETL logic.
Troubleshoot ETL performance issues and job failures across environments.
Ensure secure handling of sensitive banking data per regulatory standards.
Document ETL designs, data lineage, and support handover.
Participate in Agile sprints, code reviews, SIT/UAT, and cutover activities.
(Nice to have) Use PowerExchange for mainframe sources.
Requirements
7–10 years of ETL development experience in banking/financial services.
Experience in data profiling, data quality, reconciliation, CDC, and metadata management.
Preferred
Experience with core banking migrations (T24, FinSuite, etc.).
Exposure to AWS/Azure and IDMC cloud integrations.
Understanding of banking domains (client master, accounts, holdings, transactions).
Awareness of Swiss regulatory standards for data protection.
Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter & Informatica Cloud (IDMC).
Proficient in SQL/PLSQL and databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).
Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and Git-based version control.
